What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They can remember a choice, keep a session together, or count visits. Similar storage, such as localStorage, is treated the same way in this policy when we use it for consent.
How we use them
We use essential storage so your Accept or Reject choice survives a refresh. We use analytics cookies only if you press Accept on the banner. Rejecting analytics does not lock pages, forms, or program information. There is no paywall behind consent.
Types
Essential. Required for the consent banner to remember your choice and for basic site operation. These run even if you reject analytics.
Analytics. Anonymised page-view counts so we know which journal notes and syllabi are read. They are not used to build advertising profiles and are not sold.

How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change later, clear site data for socket-routehub.digital in your browser, reload, and choose again. You can also block cookies in browser settings. Blocking all cookies may hide the banner’s memory of your choice, so it may reappear.

Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics or blocking non-essential cookies does not remove programs, journal notes, or the enquiry form. You may see the consent banner more often if your browser will not store the preference. Some font or image requests may still occur unless your browser blocks those third-party domains entirely, which can change how the layout looks.
