1. Data controller
The data controller is Socket Routehub, operating from Street: 157 Ranong 1 Thanon Nakornchaisri; City: Bangkok; State/province/area: Bangkok; Zip code: 10300; Country: Thailand. Email: info@socket-routehub.digital. Phone: (02)2410217.
We process personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where a student is in another country, with that country’s rules to the extent they apply to our teaching relationship.
2. What we collect
From the enquiry form: name, email, optional topic, and message. From enrolment: billing name, invoice address, seat type (Bangkok room or remote), and accessibility notes you choose to share. From class: attendance, submitted tickets, and capstone files. From the site: cookie preference, and if you accept analytics cookies, anonymised page-view counts.
We do not ask the public site form for national ID numbers, payment card numbers, or health data. Do not put those in the message field.
3. Why we process it
We reply to enquiries, issue invoices, run cohorts, keep alumni jam lists you opt into, meet accounting duties under Thai law, and (only if you accept analytics cookies) understand which journal notes are read. Legal bases include contractual necessity for paid programs, legitimate interests in running a school, consent for optional analytics and alumni mail, and legal obligation for tax records.
4. Retention
Enquiry messages that do not become enrolments are kept for 18 months, then deleted or archived in a form that no longer identifies you. Invoices and tax records are kept for the period Thai accounting rules require, typically five years after the relevant fiscal year. Classwork is kept for 24 months after the cohort ends so faculty can write references you request; you may ask us to delete classwork earlier, except where we must keep a copy for a dispute. Cookie preference is stored in your browser until you clear it or until 180 days pass, whichever you do first.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Write to info@socket-routehub.digital. We will respond within 30 days, or tell you if Thai law allows a longer period. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand.
Withdrawing analytics consent does not affect your ability to use the site or to enrol. See the Cookies Policy for how to change that choice.
6. Sharing
We share data with accountants, email infrastructure, and (for remote seats) the video host used that cohort. We do not sell personal data. Faculty contractors see only what they need to teach and critique.
7. International transfers
Some processors (for example a video or email host) may store data outside Thailand. When we use them, we require contractual safeguards and, where needed, additional measures so PDPA standards are not diluted. Remote students outside Thailand understand that their class contributions are processed in Thailand, where the school is based.
Journal images are loaded from public image hosts. Those hosts may log request metadata according to their own policies.
8. Children
Programs are aimed at working adults. We do not knowingly enrol anyone under 18.
9. Security
We use access control on student files and limit staff accounts. No method of transmission is perfect. If we learn of a breach likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as PDPA requires.
